Tap on the screen to wake the thermostat, remove the thermostat from the subbase and press the “Config” button five (5) time to access the Advanced codes.
“ADV will appear on the screen, tap it and use the up or down arrow buttons to select your code. Once done, place the thermostat back onto wall plate.
Stage 1 to Stage 2 setup parameters for conventional and heat pump systems:
- Heating Code G and/or Code H are used to define when 2nd stage (W2 or Y2) will be turned on. Default is 7°F, 10 mins runtime.
- Cooling Code N and/or Code P are used to define when 2nd stage (Y2) will be turned on. Default is 7°F, 10 mins runtime.
Using the defaults as an example 1st stage heat or cool will run for the maximum of 10 mins before switching to 2nd stage provided the actual temperature to setpoint delta is less than 7°F. If the temperature delta is 7°F or greater then, 2nd stage heat or cool is engaged until setpoint is reached.
